FAQs

How do I know if online therapy is right for me?
If you’d like support but want the flexibility of meeting from home, online therapy can be a great option. All you need is a quiet space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you here, what you’d like to work on, and how I can best support you. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out—it’s simply a starting point.
What kinds of issues can online therapy help with?
Online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for many concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, burnout, or simply wanting more clarity and balance in life.
Are there any situations where confidentiality might be broken?
The only exceptions are if there’s a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or when required by law. I’ll always be transparent about this.
How long will therapy take?
It depends on your goals. Some people feel relief in a few sessions, while others prefer longer-term support. We’ll check in regularly and adjust the pace to suit you.
What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to decide everything at once. You can start with an initial consultation to see how online therapy feels and whether it’s the right fit.
What if I don’t know what to talk about?
That’s normal. You don’t need to prepare perfectly—sometimes just showing up is enough. Together, we’ll find a place to begin.
